They grow up so fast.

I cannot believe the time has come that I must return to work and leave my little man behind in the mornings. *tear, sob, gasp, lip quiver, get it together* I am returning to work in the morning and am not happy about it. I really wish I could stay at home with the little one until both he and his unborn sibling started kindergarten. That ain't gone happen but I can still dream, right? I know that we are beyond blessed however because Sawyer is going to stay with his Gigi rather than go to daycare so that makes us feel a little better about the situation. Anywho, I cannot believe 10 weeks has come and gone so quickly. Nor can I believe how much Sawyer has grown. He was 14lbs 10oz and 24 inches long at his 2 month check-up- big boy! He was wearing a 9 month onsie today and is going through his wardrobe like wildfire. I am trying my hardest to make sure everything gets worn at least once- so far so good.

It's definitely going to be interesting going back to the working world now especially since I am still breastfeeding/pumping. I pretty much strictly pump now as it is but doing so at work and transporting the milk everyday should prove amusing. At least I know I will be able to pump and work at the office as I am currently pumping while I edit requirement- must be able to multi-task.

Below are his one and two month pictures I took of him. I still cannot get over how big he is. Brett was around 18 pounds at a year and this kiddo is almost at 15 at his 2 month check-up. He is also doing great with holding his head up and engaging his abdominal muscles to assist. Oh and he also decided to pitch his biggest tantrum yet- TONIGHT! of all times, tonight! He is good now but oh. my. lord. the Hubs and I thought we might just pull our hair out!!

Just look at that sweet face and those adorable cheeks.

Well I am off to feed the Saw man one last time while "officially" on maternity leave and then calling it a night. I'm hoping I have shed all the tears I am going to over the past weekend. On the other hand, tomorrow I may just hold off on applying the mascara until later in the day....*sigh

Hope you all have a blessed one.
